Q: What makes Peter Piper a fun place to work?

A: The people. I like communicating with the guests; hearing about their day; they get excited to fill you in on what has happened in life between the last time they saw you and this time, it’s great.

Q: How was your first promotion presented to you?

A: It was memorable, I felt so special. My General Manager recognized me at a Team meeting in front of everyone, and they all congratulated me. You don’t really get recognition like that very often, but when you do, you will never forget it.

Q: What advice do you have for someone looking for a new career?

A: Take the chance and try us! There are so many opportunities here and so many people who want to help you reach your career goals.

Q: What do you think your future holds for your career with Peter Piper Pizza?

A: To me, my goal is to go as far as I can with the company. If I work hard I will get there. We are growing and not many companies can say that, this is a great time to be a part of it.

Q: What is the best part about working for Peter Piper Pizza?

A: There are two things. First, dealing with the kids, I love them. I get to see them, play with them, talk with them and when I hear things like, “this was the best day ever,” there is really nothing more rewarding. Second, I love our Managers. They do bigger things like give out awards and different recognitions, but it is the smaller things that I like. They will pull you aside just to say good job, and it feels great.

Q: How has your career with Peter Piper Pizza changed your life?

A: I used to be super shy and reserved, and this opportunity has pushed me out of my shell. I have confidence now that I never realized I had in me before.

Q: What advice do you have for someone thinking about pursuing a career with the company?

A: Follow through with it! There are so many opportunities here, and they are all fun. There is just so much room to grow, and grow quickly, it’s exciting.

Q: What is your favorite memory at Peter Piper Pizza?

A: One year before I worked here, my family came in to celebrate a late Christmas. The employees were great, and we all had a fun time. I knew I wanted to work here after that.

Q: What do you like best about your job with Peter Piper Pizza?

A: What I like best about my job is the role I play with the company, especially with the kids. If games are working, prizes are stocked and the atmosphere is fun, you can make anyone have an awesome day, and I control it, what is greater than that?

Q: In what ways has Peter Piper Pizza changed your life?

A: It has given me direction in where I want to go in life and what I want to become.

Q: What advice do you have for someone just starting out with the company?

A: Work every day with the excitement that you had on your first day. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, because the Team that you are surrounded by wants you to be successful and are all ready and willing to help you get there.

Q: What is the best way for someone to learn more about the company?

A: The best way is to come in and talk with us. We love our brand and what we do and we love to talk about it. We can answer any questions that you may have, and you can see how much fun we have throughout the day.

Q: How long did it take you to get your first promotion with Peter Piper Pizza?

A: It was less than a year. I went from Gameroom Attendant to Manager quickly. My General Manager and District Manager presented it so well, I felt great, like I was really important, and that they were proud of me.

Q: What is the best memory that you have at Peter Piper Pizza?

A: It had to be one Christmas Eve, a family came in to have a Christmas Party and they invited us into their celebration. We all had a great time, it was like we were part of their family!

Q: What do you think your future with Peter Piper holds?

A: The sky is the limit really! My Managers are so focused on promoting from within and teaching me something new all of the time, that the things I am learning on the job day to day, are things that people can spend years in college on, and never fully get. I’m lucky.
